little nothings...

" I don't know really where I should start. I guess with how I feel. I feel like a complete failure. I've let the bulimia take over again, and I'm slowly crumbling into nothing ." These words were the first entry in Sarah Siskin's journal she started in 2003. Sarah Siskin , a nineteen year old who succumbed to bulimia after a dreadfully long struggle of seven years. What started as a high school experiment ended in a slow suicide for this young girl...full of life and full of dreams..and a lifetime of tragedy for her family...I was so moved by these words when I read them that I read them over and over and over.. a hundred times... until they were permanently etched in my heart... feeling helpless and not knowing what can be done to save a million other Sarah's worldwide.. This isn't the first and sadly, not the last..the number of young women and men being diagnosed with eating disorders is on the rise. Over a million men and over seven million

I want to write.Just keep writing. Endlessly. Till my fingers pain and refuse to write any longer. Till my mind is free from thoughts and doesn't let a single thought stray by. I want to write. About those kids that are making so much noise right now outside my window. About their angelic smiles and innocent questions. About their playful tantrums and  cheerful taunts. I want to write. Write about the Standard Chartered Bank's quest for World's Coolest Intern. About how much I want to be THAT intern. About why I should be selected for that internship. About the experience it would be. About the people I get to meet and the things I get to learn. But, my mind is blank and is refusing to think. It just keeps re-iterating the words of Dusan Bogdanovic. "Stay cool, look professional, and pretend this is very, very easy." I can!

Do weird things happen to you? Or is it just me? Every time I feel  my life is becoming boring and pray for something magical to happen, its like up up above someone hears me and instead has a wild laugh and decides  to make it weird instead!! Being the sportive star that i am (like I said earlier, it is my blog and I get to brag), I blog about it as the top 10 weird things that have happened to me. 1) Kareena Kapoor wears a cute little red helmet in 3 Idiots and I scouted like 4 shops in the city to buy a similar one. A couple of days back, I was riding my scooter on the Telugu Thalli flyover at 80 and the helmet  decides to take off and crash land on the middle of the road. There was traffic dodging it at high speeds and people laughing at me while I was trying to cover my face with my scarf and retrieve it.
